Spare a Copper, aka Un Drole de Flic - Formby, France 1947

"Un Drole de Flic" in France.
Odd that after umpteen years of doing this, I find my first two Formbys in two weeks, both French, and from different sources.
This poster for " Spare a Copper " is for the first French release after the 1940 UK release.
Formby is the brave but put upon hero saving Britain from the Germans.

UPDATE: One of these, in tatty condition, has appeared on French eBay for £1400. Time to grab mine, obviously !

Origin: France 1947
Size: 47 x 31 in / 119 x 79 cm
Condition: Some light wear through cinema use, but great colour, and displays beautifully.
