Outsider, Germany 1953 Drivepast Limited Edition - Hawthorne, Farina, Ferrari

Outsider :  at the top of picture should be Johnny Claes in a Connaught, but it isn't. It's someone else in a Gordini. An Outsider.

At the bottom is Giuseppe Farina in his Ferrari 500, and above him Mike Hawthorne also in a Ferrari 500, but the number indicates that it's Jean Behra's car. All very confusing, but indicating a shot posed especially for this August '53 edition of das Auto.

We’ve blown it up to A2 size (c.420 x 590 mm) and produced a limited run of 15 prints on heavy textured art paper, title embossed, and we’ve even retained some of the original patina.
