Motoring UK 1928
Star, Harry Tate appears to be ministering to an ailing motor in this virtually unknown (by me, anyway) 1927 made movie.
This is a Trade Ad from the Kinematograph Weekly of January 5th, 1928. This was the method used by movie makers and distributors to tell cinema owners of their future attractions. These ads were frequently used by the Cinema owners as lobby decoration.
Needless to say, this is insanely rare !
When I get more info. on the movie, I'll let you know. In the meantime relish the unlikely facial hair on the fat chap (not unlike myself) and the appalling jacket, very reminiscent of the clothing style adopted by my boon companion, Simon Tyrrell, AKA Dolores.
Origin: UK 1928 Size: 9 x 12 in / 23 x 30 cm Condition: Excellent. Small staple holes in left border.
