Streets of Fire, Original Movie Poster, USA 1984

Streets of Fire was a biker movie, a rock & roll movie, a kidnap movie, a rule breaking movie.

The main rule it broke was that it lost a packet, although it's picked up a lot of followers in the past 30 years.

I like the poster for the artwork; old cars, rakish dame, tough guy; a bit like the contemporary 'Sin City' franchise. There are several versions of this poster, but colour-wise, I reckon this to be the most effective.

Willem Dafoe was the villain of the piece, and Ry Cooder provided much of the music, and that can't be a bad thing.
