Bidon d'Or , France 1932, Original Motor Racing Comedy Poster
Bidon d'Or was a wonderful racing comedy set, in part, at Montlhery. The comedy starts with the title: Bidon d'Or means Gold Cup, but also translates as 'Piss Pot'. I think you can see where we're going with this.
This poster along with the bigger one, a French 2-Panel now sold to Chef, James Martin, was conceived by French poster master, Roger Cartier. The smaller pic shows the same poster adorning the mews complex of Gentleman Racer, Gregor Fiskin.
