Hunt Housecar, Original 1938 Publicity Pic. Donnie Dunagan

  • £55

The Hunt Housecar - this one named "The Star" was an early form of recreational vehicle designe and built by Hollywood cinematographer, Roy Hunt.

Posing in the doorway is child star (well, almost) Donnie Dunagan, whose claim to fame seems to have been appearing as the son of Basil Rathbone's Baron von Frankenstein in the 1939 Karloff led "Son of Frankenstein".

This fascinating art-deco RV is documented here:

This original pic has some blurb on the back along with a small paste mark. The photo itself is a little sepia-d.
