Original French Aviation Postcards, c.1950, Charbonneau
Here are 20 of a set of 50 original French postcards by artist Philippe Charbonneau depicting the fighting 'planes of World War 2. I have about 30 in total
The only likely reference that I can find to the artist, is here: http://www.artandsupercars.com/philippe-charbonneau-designer/
British, American, German, French warbirds are shown, and each card has a brief description to the rear.
They were printed in Paris in about 1950 by EAeC.
One has some discolouration to the rear which does not affect the image, and all are unused. Size is 14 x 9 cm.
These cards are seldom seen for sale, and almost never in this condition.
Origin: France 1950 Condition: Excellent
