Racers (The), Original US Re-release Poster 1961

The Racers was first released in 1954, and this original US half sheet was from the first re-release in 1961. The posters are very similar, but this one has the addition of four scenes from the movie on the right hand side.

Kirk Douglas starred in the Racers, with the help of a lot of back projection, along with a Ferrari Barchetta - currently in the tender care of Gregor Fisken - and an HWM, now being gloriously campaigned as the Stovebolt Special by motoring scribe, Simon Taylor.
